Lame Corporate America
So, once a quarter, my company hosts a corporate breakfast meeting dubbed "Breakfast with {CEO}". Its an incredibly boring one hour meeting followed by breakfast. My department is usually too busy to attend and only a few of the admin and the occasional Analyst/Associate attend. We all make sure to sneak down after the meeting is over for the free food!
Today's meeting was supposed to have a "surprise guest". Since the CEO has said he is stepping down in June, the speculation was that it would be the incoming CEO. Nope. Instead, it is the Philly Phanatic - the mascot of the Phillies (baseball team). You have got to be kidding me! LAME!
