My Good Deed for the Day
This poor woman was standing on the corner with a man in a wheelchair and couldn't hail a cab. I saw at least 5 empty ones with their lights lit drive right by. I suspected it was because they didn't want to hassle with the wheelchair. I stood about 10feet in front of them, put up my hand and was able to flag down a cab pretty quickly. Then I waved them over and assisted in getting him in to the cab. The cabbie got out and helped, but you could tell he didn't like my deceptive technique....
Imagine that having to be part of your daily routine. Glad I was able to help - if only in a small way....
