QotD: En Route

What is your daily commute like?  What is the weirdest thing you've seen on that commute?

I have a grueling commute.... I cross the street and turn the corner.... I'm very spoiled!  Actually, as obnoxious as this will sound, I would prefer a commute that is a bit longer... get some exercise on the walk home and give me a chance to decompress after a busy workday....  during my brief stint in NYC, my commute was 15-20min, about a mile of walking, or less than that if I used the bus for part of the trip.  I enjoyed walking home, getting some exercise and catching up with friends & family. 

I never want to go back to the 1hr 20min+ commute I used to do to NYC fresh out of college.  Ugh.
