Looks like we are going to be busy little travelers in 2008 - What fun!
Next weekend we are going to CT to celebrate a 30th birthday, I'm off to Phoenix AZ in late January (part work and then visiting a friend) and in February we are going to visit my sister and ski in Colorado. And that's just the first two months of the year!
We have plans for an Easter vacation - Montreal maybe. And a trip to Europe in the fall (using dividend miles for the flight, if everything goes according to plan). For work, I know of trips to Wash DC, Portland OR, and Williamsburg VA - I hope Adam tags along for one or two of them. AND, I want to do weekend visits to friends in Savannah GA, Richmond VA, and St. Louis - WHEW!!!! Fun, fun, fun
Last year was pretty lame. We spent the first half of the year tied up with house nonsense and I started studying for that exam in August - which didn't leave much room for studying. Also, we had been to Japan and Germany in 2006, which we were financially recovering from. I figure we better get all this travelling in now while we are kid-free!
Our niece (Adam's brother's daughter) is such a cutie. We had fun playing with her on Christmas Eve when we slept over their house. Nice to see Scott so good around her. I think it makes Adam feel like he will be able to handle the responsibility, when the time comes.
Babies: Still cuter when you can hand them back. I don't think this is in our future for 2008, maybe a 2009 event.
How do you want 2008 to be different from 2007? What will you change or do differently?

By the time I hit the BIG 3-0 in July, I'd like to be 15-20lbs lighter and have quit smoking. Time to stop drinking wine on weeknights and get my butt to the gym!
We ended 2007 with minimal family drama - a huge feat for us - I hope that continues into 2008!!!
Adam was a trooper on Saturday and did a day of shopping/errands with me. We FINALLY picked out a mattress, which will be arriving on Thursday - very excited!!! We have been saying we would do this for almost a year now.
We bought a humidifier at Bed, Bath, & Beyond (love that 20% coupon) and I LOVE IT!!! The air in the apartment is extremely dry and my nose has been a hurting pup for the last few months. We've used it for two nights now and I really feel like I have been sleeping better because of it. Seriously considering getting a second one for my office.
I think VH1 has some grat programming - when you peel away the Celeb-reality crap. "I Love the 80s" is one of the funniest things ever... Lately, they have been playing a 5 part series "Top 100 Songs of the 90s", which has been a lot of fun to watch. The clothes, the hair, oh my!!! And, I've learned some wacky facts about songs/artists that I never knew about. One of the most striking things I noticed was the amount of people that have "turned to God", including Mace (Mo Money, Mo Problems) and MC Hammer who are now both reverends.... weirdness!
Last night we finally got around to the Top 20. Adam was getting livid at the TV at the high ranking some of the songs received. Backstreet Boys and number 3 was almost the end of him.... I thought he was going to loose it. I think that Baby Got Back and Waterfalls are bit too high. Think Say My Name is WAY TOO HIGH, but didn't think the others seemd unreasonable.

Holidays are over.... busy at work again. Should be ready to procrastinate any minute now.
Just wanted to write a quick "I'm Alive" message. Adam and I survived our FOUR holidays. We've decided that next year, we will only drive in one direction (either NJ or DE) and the other set of parents will have to come to us if they want to see us over the holidays. It's just too much stress on us otherwise - I'm sure my dad and Adam's mom will be "thrilled" with the new plan -- its like pulling teeth to get either of them to visit us occasionally.....
Anyway. After Christmas, we drove to Sugarbush for two days of skiing and then spent two extremely lazy days at my mom's condo - which was just what we needed.
Both us worked until after 6pm last night..... real-life is back in full force!!!
