I thoroughly enjoy the Jon Stewart show and to a lesser degree the Colbert Report. Its a great way to keep up with politics in a small dose that I can tolerate (as opposed to watching Meet the Press, which I can barely stomach). Yesterday, was the first time EVER that I thought one of these shows (Stewart/Colbert) did something was in poor taste.... Colbert was interviewing someone who had served 26 years for a crime he didn't commit and was later cleared by DNA evidence. I just don't find this funny (which makes me wonder why I'm even posting it). Seriously, am I the only person who thinks this is in poor taste and just not funny?
Tonight, the new season of Weeds starts. I am about halfway through Season Two on Netflix, which just got released in late July. I'm having so much fun watching The 4400 every Sunday night. I wish I could watch Weeds and The L Word weekly as well.
Well, I guess its not all bad. I should really be studying, so I guess its good thing that there aren't too many shows I watch on a weekly basis. The 4400 and Greys Anatomy... that's about it now that Gilmore Girls is over. {TEAR}
Last night we watched Little Miss Sunshine. What a delightful movie that was full of surprises and entertaining. It was refreshing to watch something that was funny, in a not-trying too hard type of a way, with an unpredictable plot line.
