My last post was a little more personal than the average ranting I usually post. In this day and age of lives becoming very public because of the internet, I'm thinking of being a little more selective of what I am putting out in internet-land and am considering switching so that only "Friends & Family" have access to some of our more personal posts.
I considered doing this in the beginning, but didn't want to inflict friends & family with yet another username/password to remember... now that I've had the blog up and running for almost a year, I think its time to clamp down....
Something has happened to my VOX account at work and the VOX webpage thinks that I am accessing the page from a mobile device. This screws up the way everything looks, but more importantly, has made it impossible to post anything - such a bummer.
I even deleted all of my cookies, and had to deal with not remembering a lot of saved passwords, in an attempt to fix it, but to no avail.... even my buddy in IT didn't have any suggestions.
Anyone know how to fix this? In the meantime, I will have to post when I get home.... if I get around to it. Today I wrote my posts at work, so I can just cut and paste them tonight - but what a pain in the butt!!!
I was beginning to wonder if I was just talking to myself out here in blog-land.... until yesterday when I got an email from LeeAnn commenting on one of my postings. THANK YOU LEEANN! I feel much less crazy now.
Still working on getting Adam to post something - maybe today will be the day....
Just a friendly reminder to everyone to please be careful of what email address you are using when you email me & Adam. We are both trying to avoid using work email. Please email me at my gmail account and email Adam at his hotmail account.

This is probably my third or fourth "first Post" as Adam and I try to find a blogging service that is easy to use and gives us all the funcationality that we like. So, this is our blog on VOX a new service that I got invited to try out. We also have a blog on blogger and I have one on msn, with a bit of a feminist slant -- hopefully, we will find something we are happy with soon and shut down the other sites.
We thought it would be nice to have a blog so our friends and family could stay up to speed on my new job, Adam's job search, and our efforts to move to NYC. Its also a nice way to share silly antidotes, musings, and photos -- this site, in theory will be linked to our FLICKR slite where we store our photos online. With so much family to relay everything too, we at times feel a little repetitive as keep everyone up to speed. Of course, this blog isn't meant to replace phone calls with family, just to communicate to everyone a little better. We look forward to friends & family posting comments in response to our postings.
