The camera-kick I've gotten on recently, reminded me that Adam and I never ordered the birthday present he was going to get me last year.  We had always planned putting photos from our joint travels on display.

In the meantime, the one we originally say isn't even offered at pottery barn anymore and I've found TWO at RedEnvelope I'd like to have instead.  I plan to use the deluxe set for travel photos and that hall gallery to display photos of our many families.  I feel like we have an over abundance of picture frames in the apartment and it would nice to have a family collage instead.

I just signed myself for a 5 hour class on Saturday about using all the swanky functions on my swanky SLR camera.  I figure before I go buying myself any new lens, I should know the ins & outs of my camera's capabilities. 

My father-in-law recently bought the same camera and I had been looking forward to having a buddy in class, but he's not able to join me.  Hey, maybe I'll make a new friend.  My tennis buddies have gotten pregnant and/or moved out of town, so it would be nice to have some new gal-pals.

I finally had some downtime yesterday afternoon at work and put it to good use playing on the internet (study? oh yeah, probably should have done that instead!)

Using the photos we have uploaded to FLICKR I made myself some Moo Cards (like business cards for personal info).  On one side is a sliver of a photo you select.  I ended up with more flower photos than I had planned, but they seemed to look the best.  On the other side, I added Adam and my cell phone numbers and email addresses.  Very cool!  They are supposed to ship next Monday already!!!!

While I was "playing" I made my mom a set of 20 postcards using photos that she had taken while she was in switzerland.  What a nice surprise for my mom!  She is an amazing photographer, and her switzerland photos are amazing - check them out! (this isn't even all of them - we were just showing her how to use FLICKR one day and uploaded a bunch of them). 

Each item was $19.99 -- I can't wait to see how they come out!
